DESCRIPTION

The clients partaking in this course to gain the qualification Advanced Diploma of Management will be able to work as qualified Senior Manager, Executive Officer or Supervisor in wide range of industries or can also start their own business. Participants are also provided with advice on career development and training options throughout the delivery of the program. This course is designed for those clients who have little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to further develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

DURATION

This course will be delivered over a 52 Weeks period of full time study.

DELIVERY AND ASSESSMENT

This program is delivered in a classroom based environment. Participants will be studying in full time capacity to gain the qualification.

Training will be conducted in well equipped classrooms. In addition to the above the participants are also required to participate in group discussions and case studies. This is the key component of delivery of this program. Participants will be provided with teaching resources. The trainer may provide additional learning material where gaps are identified in either the participant ’ s underpinning knowledge or the training resources.

Assessment will be competency based. Participants will be advised of the assessment requirements at the beginning of each unit. Assessment will usually commence in the session following delivery. As this is a competency based program, assessment continues throughout the program until the participant either achieves competency in the assessment tasks or a further training need is identified and addressed. The assessment process will include theory, case studies, projects
and practical assessments.
