This course covers basic topics in Computer Networking such as network types, usage of network, network devices and it uses, introduction to LAN, WAN, MAN, and network protocols

PC Hardware and Maintenance

Course Duration: 2 Hours (Evening classes available)

About the course

PC Hardware and Maintenance provides skills on basic hardware repair and replacement, Windows operating systems, troubleshooting, and networking. Identify the tools and test equipment required for PC repair and maintenance tasks, how hardware and software work together in the operation of a PC, and the process for assembling a personal computer. Discuss physical components of a hard drive and know the function and how to maintain disks and systems. How to solve basic computer problems, define the differences between a virus, worm, and a Trojan horse, and identify the types of threats against a computer system
