We offer weekly barista coffee training sessions. 

 Our barista course equips you with the expertise to prepare and serve espresso in various settings, including restaurants, bars, and cafes, using professional espresso coffee machines. 

  Participants will engage in a dynamic group learning environment, receiving hands-on training and the opportunity to practice coffee making under the guidance of our experienced barista instructors. 

The program thoroughly addresses the skills necessary for the extraction and service of espresso coffee drinks with professional espresso machines and grinders. 

 Designed for individuals aspiring to work in any hospitality setting that offers espresso coffee beverages, such as cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, and event venues, the six-hour course opens doors to numerous career paths, including: 

  •   Baristas 
  • Servers 
  • Bartenders 
  • Food and beverage staff 
  • Hospitality managers 
  • Event personnel 
  • Other relevant roles within the sector 

  Course Highlights – Melbourne Barista Training 

The course includes training on: 

  •   Hygiene practices and food hazard identification 
  • Coffee history and origin 
  • Grind adjustment and dosing techniques 
  • Coffee machine operation and maintenance 
  • Preparation of various coffee styles 
  • Milk texturing skills 
  • Coffee tasting to understand different profiles and strengths 

 Upon completion of this one-day course, participants will receive a Barista Coffee Course certificate of completion, enhancing their employability in the industry. 

 Please note that this course is tailored to align with industry standards and the SITHFAB025 – Prepare and serve espresso module, although it is not nationally accredited. For those seeking accreditation, please contact us for more information. 

  No prerequisites or entry requirements are needed to enrol.

  Identification Requirement: Attendees must present valid ID, such as a passport or driver’s license, on the training day.
